Set up your business

Before your first call, set up your business on the merchant dashboard. Signing up, verifying your business and creating API keys happen there, not through the API.

1. Create your accountlink

  1. Open the merchant dashboard and choose Continue with NetApps SSO.
  2. New to NetApps? Choose Create one to register, then sign in.

Your team signs in the same way. An owner or admin invites them from Team with Send Invitation. Invitations expire after 72 hours.

2. Create your businesslink

Signing in for the first time takes you to business onboarding. Only Business Name is required. You can add a description, your CAC RC number, contact email, phone and website now or later under Settings.

Every new business starts in Test Mode. You can build and test the whole integration straight away.

3. Verify your business (KYC)link

Start verification from the banner at the top of the dashboard with Verify Business. An owner or admin completes it in the verification window that opens.

StatusMeaning
Not startedVerification has not begun.
Pending, Under reviewYour documents are being checked.
VerifiedYour business is verified. You can create live keys and request production access.
RejectedFix what the reviewer flagged, then choose Retry Verification.
ExpiredStart again with Restart Verification.

You do not need a verified business to build in test.

4. Create a test API keylink

  1. Open API Keys with the dashboard in test mode.
  2. Choose New API key, give it a name, and create it.
  3. Copy the Full API key (for x-api-key header). It is shown once.

Only the business owner can create or revoke keys. Keys cannot be rotated: to replace one, create a new key, switch your server to it, then revoke the old one with Revoke key. Revoking takes effect immediately.

5. Lock down your server addresses (optional)link

Under Integration, IP allowlist limits which addresses may call the API, as single IPs or CIDR ranges, up to 50. An empty list allows every address. A call from outside the list is 403 IP_NOT_ALLOWED.
