Settle your statement
You collect premiums from your customers and owe them to NetApps InsureTech, which pays the insurers. A statement bills what you owe for one period, less refunds and your share of the commission.
What a statement billslink
NetApps InsureTech issues a statement to your business at the end of each period, monthly unless your business is set up otherwise. It lists everything you reported as paid in that period and not billed before:
| Line | Comes from |
|---|---|
PREMIUM | A purchase, a later installment, or an endorsement that raised the premium. |
ADJUSTMENT | A refund on a cancellation or an endorsement that lowered the premium, or a correction. |
CARRIED_CREDIT | Credit from an earlier statement, taken off this one. |
Each line names the purchase (purchaseId) and your own reference (transactionId), so you can reconcile line by line. merchantCommissionMinor is your share of the commission on the line, and amountDueMinor is what the line adds to the total.
